• The hydraulic chain tension sprockets have sealed bearings with normal life span of approx. 3-4 years, with minimal down time and low maintenance.  
   

• Chain tension is applied through vertically moving the lower idler sprockets up or down through the means of a 3 ¼ ” bore hydraulic cylinder. To snub 40,000lbs a hydraulic force of 2400psi would need to be applied to the chain tension cylinders.

• The whole cylinder and sprocket can be removed easily in one piece to inspect or change bearings.

 

• There are four sealed bearings per sprocket.
